Desexing your cat is one of the kindest things you can do to protect their health and help reduce the number of unwanted kittens in our community. We understand that the cost can sometimes be a barrier, which is why Touching Hearts Animal Rescue offers a discounted desexing program to support responsible pet owners on the Fraser Coast.

Pricing

• Female cat: $140 out-of-pocket

• Male cat: $120 out-of-pocket

*Fraser Coast Regional Council also offers a $50 rebate for concession card holders. Please submit your desexing certificate through the Council website to receive your rebate.

 

How to Apply for a Desexing Voucher

Step 1
Complete the application form below and upload a copy of your concession card.
(Please submit one form per cat if applying for multiple vouchers.)

Step 2
Once your voucher is emailed to you (usually within 7–10 days), contact one of the participating vet clinics listed on the voucher to book your cat’s desexing procedure.

Step 3
On the day of surgery, bring your THAR desexing voucher to the clinic and pay the out-of-pocket cost. The remaining balance will be covered by THAR.

Step 4
After receiving your desexing certificate, submit it to Fraser Coast Regional Council via their website to claim your $50 rebate.
